Help!

2 integers who's sum is 16 an product is 48.

(Like if you needed a sum that was 10 and a product of 24, 6+4= 10 and 6x4=24 .. I just am stuck)

Let
x----------> first number
y----------< second number

we know that
x+y=16---------> y=16-x-----------> equation 1
x*y=48-----------------> equation 2
substituting 1 in 2

x*(16-x)=48----------> 16x-x²=48---------> x²-16x+48=0
using a graph tool----> to calculate the quadratic equation
see the figure attached

the values of x are
x1=4
x2=12

for x=4
y=16-x-----> 16-4--------> y=12

and for x=12
y=16-x------> 16-12------> y=4

the answer is
the two integers are 4 and 12
