The turtle would be moving 0.5 feet every minute. The width of the path is 4 feet.

Answer:

5.67 feet

Explanation:

We are given that a turtle begins to cross a path.

We have to find the total width of the path.

Turtle travel distance in 3 minutes =2.5 feet

Turtle travel distance in 1 minute=
(2.5)/(3)

Turtle travel distance in 5 minutes form one edge=
(2.5)/(3)* 5=(12.5)/(3)

The distance of turtle from second edge=1.5 feet

Total width of path

(12.5)/(3)+1.5

(12.5+4.5)/(3)=(17)/(3)

Width of path=5.67 feet.

A turtle begins to cross a path. After 3 minutes, the turtle is 2.5 feet from the-example-1
