The plot shown is a histogram, not a line plot.
The average quantity is
.. (2*1/4 +2*3/8 +2*1/2 +5/8 +3/4 +7/8)/(2 +2 +2 +1 + 1 + 1)
.. = (4 1/2)/9 = 1/2
Each beaker would have 1/2 milliliters.
