2- Right hand side:

Second term:

(2x + 12)/(x) * 2x² = 4x² + 24x .............> III

From I, II and III, the equation now becomes:
2x² - 2x - 12 = x² - 6x + 4x² + 24x
2x² - 2x - 12 = 5x² + 18x
5x² + 18x - 2x² + 2x + 12 = 0
