What is the value of x?

sin49 degrees = cos x

this is the correct answer, not the one above.

if entered on the calculator (texas instruments TI-30X2S)

sin (49)= 0.75470958

2nd → cos → 2nd → (-)

which would look like this→ cos-1(0.75470958)

answer= cos 41

\sin(45 \: degrees) = \: \cos(x)

( \sin(45 \: degrees) )/(cos) = \: x

( sin)/(cos ) = tan

therefore \: \: \: \tan(45 \: degrees) = x

but \: \: \: \tan(45 \: degrees) = 1

therefore \: \: \: x = 1
