That would be false. The Ozone layer is what protects Earth from UV radiation. The Ozone is part of the Stratosphere.

Answer:

False

Step-by-step explanation:

It is the stratosphere layer of earth that protect us from harmful UV radiation. Basically ozone gas protects earth from UV radiation and nearly 90% of the ozone in atmosphere is found in the stratosphere at an altitude of 16 and 48 kilometers above the Earth's surface.

Ozone is found in a concentrated form in stratosphere only. This ozone has a tendency to absorb ultraviolet light from the Sun and protect the earth from the harmful effects of UV radiation.

Thus, it can be said that it is the stratosphere and not the troposphere that protects the Earth from UV radiation coming from the Sun
