The bone growth in the uninjured limb would pass the injured limbs growth due to the broken limb healing instead of growing. the broken limbs epiphyseal plate would be healing the broken bone instead of growing. the uninjured limb would grow beyond the injured limb causing lack of coordination, unbalance, and its a possibility that it can cause pain to the child's back or hips..
