Answer:

y + 3 = (1/9) (x - 4)

Explanation:

To find slope:

y2-y1 / x2-x1

-4 -(-3) / -5 - 4

Double negative switches the # to a positive

-4+3 / 5 - 4

= -1 / -9

Two negatives equal a positive

m=1/9

point-slope form:

y-y1=m(x-x1)

y-(-3)=(1/9)(x-4)

Solving:

Double negative=positive #

y+3=(1/9)(x-4)

Distribute (1/9) to the x and -4

y+3= (1/9)x - (4/9)

Subtract 3 from both sides

y = -3.4
