Hello!

A cylinder has a radius of 14m and a height of 6m what is the exact volume of this cylinder

Data:

r (radius) = 14 m

h (height) = 6 m

v (volume) = ?

Formula:

V = \pi *r^2*h

Solving:

V = \pi *r^2*h

V = \pi *14^2*6

V = \pi *196*6

\boxed{\boxed{V = 1176 \pi\:m^3}}\end{array}}\qquad\quad\checkmark

if, we adopt: π= 3.14, so:

V = 1176*\pi \to V = 1176*3.14 \to \boxed{\boxed{V \approx 3692.64\:m^3}}\qquad\quad\checkmark

volume of the cylinder is area x height.
the base of the cylinder has a circular shape
therefore to find the area we need to find the area of a circle.

area of circle = πr²
where π = 3.14 and r - radius - 14 m

area = 3.14 x 14 m x 14 m = 615.44 m
²
the height of the cylinder is 6 m. as mentioned volume is area x height. therefore volume of cylinder is - 615.44 x 6 = 3692.64 m³
answer is 3692.6 m³
