A tennis racket at sport city costs $180 and is discounted 15%. The same model racket costs $200 at tennis World and is on sale for 20% off. Which store is offering the better deal? Explain.

if the tennis racket costs $180 and is discounted 15% then it's price would be $153.

if the price is $200 and is at sale for 20% then the price would be $160

So the sport city has better deal.

Hi there!

To solve this question, we need to find the final cost for each store and compare the prices.

180 - 15% (of 180) = 153
200 - 20% (of 200) = 160

Since
153 < 160,
Sport City's tennis rackets cost less.

Hope this helps!
