Hi there!
To solve this, we need to distribute the negative symbol into the parenthesis and simplify to solve for x.
-x + 10 < 10
Now, we simplify.
-x < 0
x < 0

all you do is subtract 10 from each side. outside of the parentheses is an imaginary -1, so you would do distributive property & the -10 would turn positive. the equation would then be:
-x+10<10
-10 -10
the solution would be : -x < 0
