Circumference=2pi*r or
and diameter=2r
in your case, the circumference is 25.12 miles, so we plug it in to the first formula:
25.12=2pi*r
12.56=3.14*r
4=r
and since 2r=diameter, the diameter is 8

The answer to your question is 8mi. I just divide the circumference by pi to find your diameter.
