Why do damaged bones heal faster in children than they do in adults?

A child's bones heal faster than an adult's because a thicker, stronger, and more active dense fibrous membrane covers the surface of their bones.

Because the body is growing and can fix stuff faster, unlike adults where the body isn't growing as fast like children. At least that's what i think it is
