During the Night of Broken Glass. This is the night in WW2 history where German Jews were rounded up after their stores were massacred and sent to concentration camps on the account of the crime of being "Jewish".
I believe this was cause by the Waffen SS, although I'm not sure on that accounts. Hope this helps :)
