Hello there!

We have the slope and a point.

We can use the point-slope formula:

y-y1=m(x-x1)

Plug the point and the slope:

y-8=7(x-1)

y-8=7x-7

y=7x-7+8

y=7x+1

So the answer is Option A

Hope this helps
