Also it can a morale booster for the army and a psychological weapon to lower the morale of the enemy facing such weapons. The Europeans adopt it immediately because they have foresee the importance and significance of such weapons and the constant warfare between nations and kingdoms in Europe sought weapons that could give them an advantage and edge in winning their battles.
