For a history fair, a school is building a circular wooden stage that will stand 2 feet off the ground. Find the area of the stage if the radius of the stage is 9 feet. Use 3.14 for π.

the formula to find the area of a circle is pi times the radius squared. So that is the radius, 9, which will be squared. This equals 81, and you multiply this by pi, 3.14 which equals 254.469.
Answer 254.469 feet cubed
