Ty needs to cut strips of wrapping paper that are each 9 inches wide. If Ty has two rolls of wrapping paper that are each 15 feet long, how many 9inch strips can he cut

He can cut 40 strips from the two rolls.

15 feet * 12 inches per foot = 180 inches.

Each strip is to be 9 inches wide; 180/9 = 20 strips per roll.

20*2 = 40 total strips.
