the area of the parallelogram is divided into 3 areas: two of them for two triangles with the same area and one rectangle.
the area of the rectangle = Length*Width =8*7 =56 sq.m
the area of one of the triangles = 0.5*base*height= 0.5*4*7=14 sq.m
the total area of the parallelogram= 2*area of a triangle+area of the rectanlge
= 2*14+56 =28+56= 84 sq.m (plz double check the answer with your calculator and follow the same procedure)
