- Official documents are in Spanish as they are unwilling to become Mexican citizens
- There is a usage of governing themselves and as well as taking orders are resented as they are all from the Mexican officials.
Two complaints of Tejanos in 1830;
- People were unhappy because of the fact that Americans were able to go to Texas illegally.
- The immigrants who mostly of them, had little respect to the Mexican culture and they had showed no intention of becoming as Mexican citizens.
