We can't use the Zero Product Property the way the equation is written, because it is not equal to zero. We could expand it and re-factor it, but there are easier methods.

The quadratic formula works for a quadratic in standard form
ax^2+bx+c=0, so we would have to expand and simplify the equation.

That leaves us with the square root method. Notice that both
(x-1)^2 and 9 are perfect square. We take the square root of both sides and solve accordingly.

The answer is C.
