How does tripling the circumference of the circle affect the diameter of the circle?

The Diameter is also tripled.

Given the area of a circle calculate the radius and circumference
r = √(A / π)C = 2πr

Proof: C= 3in r = 0.477464 d=2r=0.9549296
C= 9in r= 1.432394 d= 2.864788 = 3x
