Rp - 6 = 2p + 20
[add 6 to both sides]
Rp - 6 + 6 = 2p + 20 + 6
Rp = 2p + 26
[-2p from both sides]
Rp -2p = 2p + 26 - 2p
Rp - 2p = 26
[Take p out as the common factor]
p(R-2) = 26
[Divide by R-2 on both sides]
p = 26/(R-2) [Answer C]
