The equation to solve is:

(x)/(5)= (4)/(10)
Step-by-step solution:
1) multiply both sides of the equation by 10:

10 \cdot (x)/(5) = 10\cdot (4)/(10)
2) simplifying:

2x = 4
3) dividing both terms by 2:

x= (4)/(2)=2
and the solution is x=2.
