First of all we will find the slope of the second line to find the eqaution of the first line.

The slope will be: y2-y1/x2-x1

-4 - 2/4 - 2
-6 / 2
-3

SO the slope is -3.

Now for the parallel line:

The slope will be the same because they are parallel.

y - y1 = m(x - x1)
y - 4 = -3 (x - (-1))
y - 4 = -3x - 3
y = -3x +1

I think im right...?
