The answer is "non-western cultures".

All societies are social manifestations. They can change significantly starting with one region then onto the next. Around the globe, there are incalculable territories with various traditions, conventions, family structures, and convictions about how the world functions. What's more, a significant number of them are very not the same as what we are accustomed with in our Western culture.
One of the generally settled upon contrasts amongst western and non-western culture is their level of individualism. What we gain from non-Western families is that our esteem can be drawn from something beyond our achievements and our individual hard working attitude.
