Add up the three expressions to get the perimeter. The perimeter is simply the sum of all sides.
(8x-2)+(5x-4)+(9x-3)
8x-2+5x-4+9x-3
(8x+5x+9x)+(-2-4-3)
22x-9
Answer: 22x-9
