Well from the equation 4x - 2y = -8 we need to find the slope first and that is 2
( 4x - 2y = -8)
--------------------
Then find the Y-intercept and X-intercept which is 4 and -2
(4x - 2y = -8)
(4x - 2y = -8)
----------------------
Since we already have the slope our equation so far is
y = 2x + M
And since we have out Y-intercept you replace 4 for m
y = 2x + 4 is your answer
