length = 17 yards

Explanation:

Perimeter = 2 x ( length + breadth)

let x = width

length = 2 + x

64 = 2(x + 2 + x)

64 = 2 (2 + 2x)

divide both sides by 2

32 = (2 + 2x)

solve for x

x = 15 yards = width

length = x + 2 + 15 + 2 = 17 yards
