An Olympic sprinter can go from a state of rest to 11 meters per second in 10 seconds. What is the average acceleration of the sprinter?

the answer is D since to calculate acceleration is used the formula a = delta v over delta t where delta v is the final velocity 11m/s less initial velocity 0m/s so delta v is 11m/s and delta t is final velocity 10s less initial velocity that always will be 0 then 10 - 0 = 10 so a = 11 over 10 that is 1.1m/s^2 (remember that is squared)
