To decompose this shape I would draw a vertical line from the vertex that is pointing outside to the vertex that is pointing inside. By doing this the vertical line will give me 2 congruent parallelograms. Yes it's that simple

To decompose the shape, you would draw a vertical line from the vertex that is pointing outside of the shape that has two congruent sides all the way down to the vertex that's inside the shape. By doing this you will create two congruent parallelograms.
