I am really having a hard time with these questions kindly help me.. :(

1.) Which of the following lines from “To His Excellency, George Washington” characterizes George Washington as a brave military leader?
A. Thee, first in peace and honours
B. Fam'd for thy valour . . .
C. Proceed, great chief
D. Shall I to Washington their praise recite?,

The answer is B) Fam'd for thy valour...

It is not C) Proceed, great chief. I used C as the verified answer for this question is C, but i got it wrong, so go with B.

The answer is B. Valour is a word that denotes bravery in battle. The other options are all nice things to say about Washington, but B is the only answer that particularly implies military bravery.
