the south fear admittimg that California was a free state because of the frams of cotton and if they were a free state than no more slave in California. Which would be good.

Hello :))
Southerners were afraid that if they admitted California as a free state, when it came to vote on things like the Wilmot proviso, free states would have majority rule.
