The answer is: 1. Yo vengo en taxi - vengo is used for first person singular; venis is for vosotros, viene is for el/ella, vienes is for tu 2. Yo _____ alta (means I _____ tall) would be Yo Soy Alta (I am tall) In Spanish there are 2 forms of the verb to be: Ser and Estar. Ser refers to a quality of the subject described. It (answering the question: What is it like) and estar to the place or state where said subject is (answering the question: Where is it). Therefore we should use the first option. We also need to take into account the tense, which is present and the fact it’s written in first person singular form. ELENA no ______ traer el DVD (Elena cannot ____ the DVD) would be Elena no puede traer el DVD because Puede is the third person singular form of the verb in present tense. Paco _____ de Madrid (Paco ____ from Madrid) is Paco es de Madrid. Because even though it’s a place, they’re using Madrid to describe where he is from (a quality of him) and not where he is at
