To find the average, simply add up the values of the money that Tim earned and divide it by the six months that he worked. In this case, it would be (200 + 150 + 250 + 260 + 285 + 380) = (1525 / 6 = 254.166). This gives a closest value of choice (A), which is $254.17 per month. or Ok, all you have to do is add all the money together then divide it by how many numbers there are which is 12.
200 + 150 + 250 + 260 + 285 + 380 + 200 + 225 + 200 + 250 + 220 + 150 = 2770

2770 divided by 12 =230.83 is the average

In finding the average of the monthly income, simply sum up all the values and divided by the total number of months. Hence, 200+150+250+260+285+380=1525. Divide 1525 dollars by 6 months. The answer is 254.17 dollars which is his average monthly pay.
