Hi there!

To solve for x, we need to simplify this by combining like terms.

4x + 6 + 3 = 17
4x + 9 = 17
4x = 8
x = 2

Hope this helps!

X=2 my dude

4x+6+3=17

Do 3-17 so it would be

4x+6= 14

Then do 6-14= 8 so

4x=8 all over 4

X=2
