we know that

for effects of the problem we will consider each candy as if it were a cube of side equal to the diameter
[the volume of a cube]=b³
b=diameter--------> b=0.25 in
[the volume of a cube]=0.25³-----> 0.015625 in³

[total volume of the candies in the machine]=120*[volume of one candy]
[total volume of the candies in the machine]=120*[0.015625]
[total volume of the candies in the machine]=1.875 in³

the answer is 1.875 in³
