Hi!
1 ton is less than 3,400 pounds or 1 T < 3,400 lbs
1 ton weighs 2,000 pounds, so 3,400 lbs weighs 1,400 lbs more than 2,000 lbs therefore 3,400 lbs is more than 1 ton.
