25 – 5x = 80
First we get rid of the 25 to do that we must minus by 25 (What we do to one side we do to the other)
So we are at -5x= 65
Next we divide by 5 (Because the five is being multiplied by x)
So we now have x = -11

25 - 5x = 80
+ 5x + 5x
25 = 5x + 80
- 80 -80
-55 = 5x
-55/5 = 11
x = 11
