If you divide 28 by 7, you know how many pounds to give everyone one hotdog. To give everyone 2, you multiply your answer by 2 which makes your answer 8.

28 divided by 2 = 56
divide 56 by 7 and you get 8
you need to buy 8 pounds to feed everyone.
