using(a+b)^2 = a^2 + 2ab = b^2

so

(3x + 7y)^2
= 9x^2 + 42xy + 49y^2

answer
9x^2 + 42xy + 49y^2

Answer:

9x^(2)+42xy+49y^(2)

Explanation:

we know that

(a+b)^(2)=a^(2)+2ab+b^(2)

In this problem we have

(3x+7y)^(2)

so

a=3x

b=7y

substitute

(3x+7y)^(2)=(3x)^(2)+2(3x)(7y)+(7y)^(2)

=9x^(2)+42xy+49y^(2)
