Why shouldn't we do a community service just to graduate?

Community service is doing good for the community not us (the students) Also, there are a lot of kids who dont have time to do it with their extra curricular activities. It won’t help us understand any of out subjects more than we currently do.

We should not have to do community service because in school we are suppose to be learning. Community service has nothing to do with any subject. This is exactly why we shouldn't have to do things for the community, it has no real value to help us pass.
