24 x 10 = 240

Let us assume totally there are x people.
We are given that 144 students went to the museum
This 144 is 60% of the total, x
thus,
60% of x =144
therefore x = 144 x 100/60 = 240
There are totally 240 visitors at the art museum on Saturday.
