Answer: For the problem
-3x+2y=4, the answer is (look below)

X=
-(4)/(3) +(2y)/(3)

Y=
2+(3x)/(2)

Add
3x to both sides of the equation. 2y = 4 + 3x

Divide each term in 2y = 4 + 3x by 2 and simplify.

For the problem
5x-3y=1, the answer is look below)

X=
(1)/(5) +(3y)/(5)

Y=
-(1)/(3) +(5x)/(3)

Explanation:

Move all terms that don't contain x to the right side and solve.
