One way to find the slope of a line is by putting your line into the equation y=mx+b

In case you don't know m= the slope and b= the y-intercept

If you want to put your equation into y=mx+b; you will need to do rise/run

This means you count how much your line goes up on the y-axis so you rise however many and then you go to the right or left and count until you get to the point that is in line with the y and x axis'.

Also you can use the equation Y2-Y1/X2-X1

You will do that by finding 2 points from the line and take the numbers and make it into Y2-Y1/X2-X1

For Example if you had,

(4,3)(6,8) you would do

8-3/6-4= 5/2 so your m, or your slope would be 5/2
