Your first draft is the one where all you basically do is throw a bunch of ideas in. To get a good grade on the assignment, you want to make it organized, have the right grammar usage, and the correct punctuation.

To see if there is any grammar errors, or confusing content. You proofread your content to make sure everything sounds right, things are at the right place, general stuff like that.
