Solution :

As per the problem we have

Each blade on a windmill is in the shape of a triangle with a base of 7 ft and height of 4 ft.

There are four blades on the windmill.

we have been asked to find the total area of the blades.

Area of one blade
=(1)/(2)*base*height=(1)/(2)*7*4 =14 \ ft^2\\

Total are of blades
=4*\text{Area of one blade}\\

Total are of blades
=4*14=56 \ ft^2\\
