Incentive program is one of the provision of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) in prohibiting retaliation of employers in addition to disciplinary programs and drug testing. Employers must not use incentive programs in a way that penalizes workers for reporting work-related injuries or illness.

In addition, the aim of these programs is to reward employees who participate in the identification and evaluations of hazard in the workplace for safety program activities for employees.
