This type of thinking is from the stage of preoperational cognitive development according to the theory of Jean Piaget. At this stage of development, children ask multiple questions because they learn in this way, they do not generally question what they learned and they are not usually aware of the way they learned. This type of thinking shows the cognitive development that the child is reaching.
