Hello!

You can solve this by plugging 1 into
g(x) and plugging the result into
h(x).

g(x) = 2x

g(1) = 2(1)

g(1) = 2

h(x) = 2x + 4

h(g(1)) = 2(2) + 4

h(g(1)) = 4 + 4

h(g(1)) = 8

Answer:
(h ∘ g)(1) = 8
